Redford RV Rentals

GetRV.com and Redford RV Rentals welcomes you to Michigan. Named for the Rouge River which flows through its environs, Redford is a charming township where visitors will have access to a number of activities and attractions both locally and nearby. Outdoor types will enjoy Lola Valley Park, a quaint rolling river valley which is an excellent spot for sledding, cross-country skiing, or picnicking. Those with a passion for things past will find a plethora of museums and historical sites in the adjacent areas, including Fair Lane, a 56-room stone mansion that was the home of Henry and Clara Ford. Highlights include Mr. Ford’s personal garage, cars and research laboratory, along with the 1915 Powerhouse which generates electricity to this day. Meadow Brook Hall is also worth a look. Inspired by traditional English country homes, this “castle” was built for Matilda Dodge and has over 110 rooms and features a grand ballroom which spans two stories. The Henry Ford Museum covers 12 acres and preserves such treasures as Edgar Allen Poe’s writing desk, the limousine in which John F. Kennedy was assassinated, and Rosa Park’s bus. The Tuskeegee Airmen National Museum offers photos and memorabilia showing the African American airmen’s involvement in World War II. Don’t miss the Motown Historical Museum where you can visit “Studio A” where Diana Ross and the Supremes, The Jackson Five, Stevie Wonder, and Marvin Gay recorded their first hits. Exhibits include photographs, music, costumes, and other memorabilia. Nearby Chene Park will appeal to nature lovers with it’s many scenic walkways, a riverside amphitheatre, and sea wall. Venues for golfing, camping, hiking, fishing, boating, and swimming are also available in the area. So when you decide an RV Rental is in your travel plans, whether just passing through or stopping at one of the many RV Parks and campgrounds available in all the must see areas. Let GetRV.com help you find the very best option available to you.
